Fraternity Headquarters Names New Member Services Director

EVANSTON, IL – Sigma Alpha Epsilon is pleased to announce that Ross Pometta (Loyola ’07) has been named Director of Member Services.

Pometta is a born-and-raised Chicagoan who joined Illinois Alpha-Omega at Loyola University. He holds bachelor’s degrees in mathematics, psychology and education. In his sophomore year, he started working with the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation as a member of the fundraising call center and later became a supervisor. During his three years with the Foundation, he trained more than 30 people and helped his team raise more than $2.5 million.

As an undergraduate, he served on his chapter’s executive board, helping to double his chapter’s size in one year. Pometta is a member of the Order of Omega and won the Excellence in Leadership Award from Loyola University Chicago in 2007. He has worked alongside the outgoing Director of Member Services, Mary Ann Kilb, for the past nine years as the Coordinator of Member Services.

Pometta has been instrumental during events at the Levere Memorial Temple and by giving tours and has been part of many conventions and Leadership schools since he joined the headquarters staff. He is a major fan of the 2016 World Champion Chicago Cubs and enjoys politics, fishing, flowers, health and fitness and travel — and you often can find him playing the piano in the Peace Chapel. He and his girlfriend, Laurel, live in the Noble Square neighborhood along with their dog, Waffles, and cat, Squee.

He can be reached at or at (847) 424-3017.
